    Absolutely cracking picture Ady!

And the best thing of today was your powerhug!

Alas, it didn't work as well as you thought... I got timed out at Horton, missed the cut off by a few minutes, even though some very kind gentleman towed me all the way from Ribblehead in an attempt to make it!

We then rode to the finish together and confusion there meant that we got ushered through the finish funnel, despite our protestations. I am sure the results will be amended soon, as I missed out a whole peak :w00t:

Very very tough conditions... I found it extremely difficult to cope with the wind, continuous lashing rain and very poor visibility. I often could not ride, as the winds were so high I was being blown off my bike. In places I literally had to anchor myself to the ground with my bike...

Thing is, this was going to be my last 3 Peaks and now I have to do it again...

Bad luck Hann, that wind was pretty bad, in fact it was horrendous at times, good to see you and Dom today though:thumbup:

yes, good to see you too MerrySteve

I had to 'stay low' quite a bit not to be blown over and had quite a few hairraising moments... I went over a style with the bike on my shoulder and the bike got caught like a sail and it pulled me over the style, head first... I let go off the bike, it flew away :w00t: and landed several metres further in the mud... I just about managed to get over the style, but was holding onto the top of it when a bloke came up behind me really anxious I was going to take off as well :-O

The blokes helping us over rawnsley's leap? He had to really hold onto me so that I didn't take off... Had the bike flapping in the wind severela times. Must work on my weight
