I found out about here only recently after reading an interview with Bobbie Gillespie who knows a bit about rock 'n' roll

I guess that like Judee Sill, she was overshadowed somewhat by Joni Mitchell.
I can remember seeing LPs in record shop racks back in the early 70s, but never actually hearing her.
Similar to you, I caught up with her about 40 years late!
