Now Dom you know that I know that you know that I have no idea who Paul Kelly is.
But I was thinking last evening about a folk evening in The Swan with Two Necks off Woodhouse Moor in Leeds watching a folk singer who, before he sang Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right", said that some people sang the song very slowly and others more quickly. It was late 1963 or maybe early 1964.
Now do you think the two are connected?
QUOTE=dominion;508008]At least if you were travelling back to Ilkley after a Randy Newman gig from Gateshead rather than Otley you could spend the time listening to something decent to recover? And why would anyone travel to Waitrose in Otley instead of shopping in Booths?
I once drove from Burton to Edinburgh to see a Paul Kelly gig. But then I also "enjoy" the odd road run....[/QUOTE]
