Me and Neil are hoping to make the drinks etc (we came along last year - as friends of that Mr Nee Bother...)
Neil is doing the TDH so I will be doing my own run, and as we plan to stay over anyway, may as well meet up with you lot

Having to drive to A'deen for Christmas.. so wouldn't mind a few nights in the lakes.. what are accom options? its now a huge thread... need to book or show up and camp?

Iain, some folk stay in B&Bs, odd ones in the YHA, one or two camp and a few have been known to stay at independent hostel Denton House . I don't think accommodation is a big problem just before Christmas

Weekend is basically a run out on the Saturday at 'social pace', beers, curry and then more beers, before moving on to the 'Loft' nightclub
