Of course
Of course
No Ale since last Fridays poisoning, saving up for XOTF, that is how it works isnt it?
Not drinking increases your tolerance, I'm sure that's how it works. Stonking hangover though to still be wincing about it a week later. Either that of my Norfolky southern softness is coming through.
Must be the southern softness... Surely you need to increase your drinking to increase your tolerance?
I am going to start tonight. Well I kind of started last night really, by breaking my no-drinking-on-a-school-night rule and drinking a bottle of Adnams Ghost Ship :closed:
Quality brew that Adnams, I grew up on that stuff
Ok, I'll apply a progressive overload approach, building up until 5-7 days before XOTF than resting. Hopefully should be on full form when.
Right, best nip into Tesco on the way home so I can do some speed (drinking) training this evening. I think I will go for Orkney Ales Northern Light, with one bottle of Skull Splitter for the final rep.
 good work shaunaneto. We expect a report in the morning.
Working away down near Gloucester at the mo. walked into a lovely pub last night that had some great ales on. I asked if they were serving food. The landlord said, very proudly, "No, we're too busy to serve food". If I wuz king, all pubs would be like this. The Old Spot in Dursley btw
Cracking little pub, The Old Spot. Also happens to be the starting point of the Dursley Dozen, one of the best races in the county, if you happen to be down this way in early February.

Anyway, onto beer. In another Cotswold pub a few miles down the road from here I had a pint of Dark Star Brewery's American Pale Ale whilst out on a walk last week. Cracking pint........
