took day off work to recce round this today
delayed start waiting for piddling down rain to ease off a bit, and slow going due to it being a tad damp underfoot, so had to miss off the final Cragg Vale section after Broad Head Clough
lots of twists/turns and checking of maps/directions
only went astray twice, which I thought was quite good, given the latticework of paths that mean you could go wrong about every 50 yards if you weren't paying attention! :wink:
looking forward to doing this in anger so I can actually get a proper "run" at it!
