I thought City played really well against the European champions and a team wanting to impress their new manager. We closed down really well and stopped them on their counter attacking which has won them countless games and all away from home.

If aguero and silva had taken their chances then we'd have all been singing the praises of the team, as it happens I think we City fans should be happy with that, a good result.

I like watching City as I think they are the most entertaining team in the Premiership but today the game was a bit dull. I thought Luiz was lucky not to give away a penalty as he was all over Kompany but I thought City should have started with Tevez instead of Dzeko.

What's going on with Drogba ?

Drogba is a step back and a strange one when they are clearing out the dead wood.. they need to rebuild and if Torres is the future they need to leave him as the number 9...

Danbert.. chelsea are no longer defending champions... they are out of europe..

Didn't see the game, City have the best squad in the league, but don't seem as strong. hart is superb but this year him and the back 4 look much weaker.. its hard to know who to pick on as they all feed off each other, like at United.. when we had VDS exuding confidence the back 4 were solid..

I think who ever finds a run of form will gallop away this year. A poor league for all the top teams. But who cares, history doesn't remember that.

I'm surprised you say that. I find them a bit Germanic - strong, powerful, fit. A team full of hard workers that rely on Silva for any glimpses of flare. I think that's why they come a cropper in Europe as they just don't have the guile to open up the defences consistantly at that level.
In fact a bit like Chelsea under Mourinho - very efficient.

When you watch that first Swansea - Liverpool match though you see the other side, possession tippy-tappy without a purpose.

It looks like Utd to me. They always have a dodgy one here and there like Norwich last week. But they have hardly had a back four all season and still sit at the top.
Utd have the right balance for me. Ferguson has shown he knows how to put a team together and whilst I think Scholes is struggling a little, Anderson looks like he's starting to fulfill the potential - finally.
Their style of football is why I have been an admirer over recent years.

But it seems like this United team can only play when behind which is worrying.

Not yet. if they win their last game and Shakhtar bear Juventus, they will progress.

Going into a Manchester Derby as Champions. Who'd have thought that 15 years ago:thumbup:

I am looking forward to watching the match tomorrow, just hope there are a few goals in it and plenty of drama not a 0-0 passing fest.

A combination of Spurs v Man U and Man City - QPR matches from last season with their goals, drama and excitement will do me
