I was curious too. Their web site doesn't seem to have made much of an impression on Google yet (early days) but with a bit of guesswork found this http://barlickfellrunners.org.uk/

More like 5-10 seconds. I always find it interesting that people only consider what they've lost rather than what they have gained. Had Mr Ian Holmes not shouted back the front runners he would have won the race because they were going the wrong way. Very sporting in my estimation and I acknowledge it. I also thank him for wearing his 'santa baby' costume which acted as a beacon for my whole race.

    Re: 2012 Stoop race

Races like this are proper cross country unlike Witton Park type affairs. It had a bit of everything and required numerous skills including gymnastic abilty. At one point I ended up doing the full splits for the first time in my life and was so surprised I almost forgot to get back up.

Dave's prize givings are great. I love chocolate prizes and my free entry to the Auld-Lang-Syne will bring back memories of that Usain Bolt impersonator-Al Fowler. Hey I hope he isn't doing it this year as he's getting good now and a defeat I'd never live down.:closed:

To be a Barlicker or not to be a Barlicker, that is the question
