Think those Dugdale 'ankies need drug testing...impregnated with adrenaline or somet:wink:

And whilst I'm mentioning 'ankies...what is the score with carrying a hanky or stuffin' one in yer mush during a race (apart from the above theory)?

Theory 1 - it keeps the moisture in and flies out

Theory 2 - it is to maintain the masochistic image of fellrunning. More extreme exponents of this approach run blindfolded, in handcuffs, and ensure they are chased by someone clad in leather and brandishing a whip.

    Wansfell Race - CANCELLED

There has been a message from the organiser that the Wansfell Race, 27/12/2013, has been cancelled because of the bad weather.

Check again later to see if it is to be re-organised for 28/12/2013.
