Lunchtime run along the canal at Thwaite mills in Hunslet the other day revealed a surprising amount of wildlife. Probably the cold had kept people away so out came the wildlife. I saw (in no particular order) a stoat/weasel, a curlew, a fox, a cormorant, numerous blue tits and robins, and what looked to be a pair of bright yellow siskins. All a nice distraction in an otherwise not so great part of the city
Only by the power of You Tube but this is an amazing clip worth a view, Gorilla family walk through a camp and interact with a tourist. I'm not sure I would be this calm but its good.

That is just incredible! I love some of the behaviour between the adults and the young gorillas too.

I've watched a few times now , its still amazing but I noticed the guy had a damp patch in his shorts so maybe that was his secret ;-)
