Thanks to all marshalls who stood for a long time waiting for me. Much appreciated. And thanks due to RO and all involved obv...

Good work Karen for packing my bag and keeping me going when I was struggling... to the peeps I ran with from Shackleton Knoll pretty much to the end, we had a good'un.

Great event, massively underestimated it. Looking forward to next year.

Snowy photos up of Trog today on http://www.woodentops.org.uk/ more to follow from Top O' Stairs, etc. The Woodentops have just tweeted that Jayne Butterworth of Skipton AC was the 35,000th runner pic on Google Plus since they set it up. Jayne's prize is a box of Cadbury's Roses & well done to her finishing 4th lady today. Great organisation Hannah and crew!

Felt a bit rough for the 2nd week running - about the only running recently - fortuantely Hannah was short of a marshall so I got an honourable exit and spent the morning cheering on troggers and managing tarffic on cock hill - noticed some interesting route choices to reach CP3 - what went on there?
Well done Hannah on another Trog organising trimuph, Karl on his 1st place, and everyone who got round and did nt let the Trog trog them.

It was nice to see you Steve cheering us on at the road at the Cock Hill checkpoint, thanks to you and all the marshalls and sweeps.

Incidentally how many didn't start? Thinking of the problem with Edale Skyline last year, lots of non shows...

It's a shame when people are looking for a place but the race is full...

That was a fabulous race. Thank you for letting us through the 2nd cut off (even though I would have happily stopped at that point!). A brilliantly organised and super friendly race - everyone was just wonderful (especially the Manhar and the Marshals at CP 3/13(15?)). Massive thank you to everyone involved.
My feet are very sore, I've never had cramp but did today, I feel mostly rubbish but I will be back next year! Great race! Ta very much!

I think 38 didn't start, which is about the same as for the last 2 years. I'd managed to fit in everyone that wanted to run though. I wonder how many people pre enter and then forget it's on?! Of those that contacted me to let me know they wouldn't make it, it was about 30% injuries and 70% kids getting in the way.
