    I've gone from 64kilos (10st 1lb, 141lbs) to 58kg (9st 1lb, 127lbs) since January so pretty ok with that, just 4 kilos (8lbs) to go.
Not had a drink since boxing day
I kneel before you - how awesome is losing a stone in a month and resisting the drink :w00t: Your willpower is truly brilliant. What an inspiration  Thanks for sharing!
Makes me resolve to try much harder!

Well done good effort, I am sure you will have earned a drink.

Post pancakes still 11st 4lbs , it must have been that hard club session last night, 4x1k reps, followed by 3X400m relay race handicapped. So I had no need for sneaky early weigh in at all .

Me too Dave! Your not struggling alone, we will get there. I think seeing it here in print and the great efforts of the others is a great focus point.
March is going to be no alcohol for me although I might relent on the 14th as it's hubby's birthday :-)

The different scales have now have thrown your old and expected target out of sorts. Your currently -3.2 Kg. Congratulations:wink:

I use a scale down home where I have a level concrete flour to put the scales on. I Weighted 78.0 Kg on Monday morning. This morning I used the scales in the digs which is on a dodgy wooden floor and I weighted 75.1 Kg which was an amazing drop of 2.9 Kg in three days... So there is your proof one needs to be using same scales in the same spot for an accurate run on progress. Scales down home is good in one sense since I'm not weighting myself every day now. Usually just one accurate weight each week before heading back to the big smoke.

eee ged away! It's not easy I have to confess but I've not really missed anything I've not been having but I do calorie count everything I DO have, even if that's something a bit high. I snack on nuts, seeds etc and have developed and unhealthy (?) addiction to carob coated brazil nuts!

I've been sticking to under 1200 calories a day and it's worked although off on the travels tomorrow and being good whilst only having pastries on offer as brekkie is going to be a big ask!!

    Stick with it peeps.... :-)

    Re: Overweight to Race-weight

Definitely the best way to do it!

I am not calorie counting, just cutting out the cr@p largely, as well as portion control and back to training, which should result in a slow weight loss, which it has.

I have found I have also developed an addiction, to chocolate coated Brazils :w00t: but at least I am no longer eating whole slabs of G&B's almond chocolate :w00t:
