size wise - I always find euro 42 fits me, but how manufacturers match this up to UK sizing seems to vary.
for these EU42 = UK 8 = right for me.

I had a pair of Mk 1's disintegrate on me with less than 200M on the clock
the heel cup parted company with the sole
to be fair, I was aggressively contouring on a short race, and I do weigh 13 stone
I'm going to use my remaining pair of Mk 1's just for slower/more controlled training and see how many miles I can get on them...

I am a convert , sorry but its bye inov8 you have priced yourself out of the market as far as I am concerned.
i had the same problem with a lot less than 200m run - well, two medium length races in very wet / muddy conditions, and a few weeks of training , and first the uppers split - and i thought - shame after such a short time, but they might still last a bit, but then the sole came right off of one.
Until then i had been very happy with them, and thought them a great bargain - but I went back to inov8 330, also from Start fitness for about 50 quid inc 10% discount with a free pair of socks.
I'm also about 12/13 stone , so perhaps that is the reason, and maybe i just had a 'bad ' pair, but now i see them as a false economy compared to innov8, which last me about 5 times as long.
SF had some Adidas Swoop recently for £30, and i would rather get them as a cheap shoe - my only other pair lasted quite well, though they are notoriously slippy on wet rock and paving slabs.
Actually my innov8s have lasted me a lot longer than 5 times as long as the More Miles - more like 1/2 years compared to a few weeks.
But obviously many find them hard wearing - and if so, then they are good shoe and great value - but that was my experience, and thus would be wary of trying them again.
Was that Mk1 or Mk2 Skyrun?
Raced in my Mk2's today. Superlative. Slipped badly on a wet slab but that was one step out of thousands that were secure. A guy came past me on his ars3 descending a streaming wet field...he was all over the place but I felt rock steady.
My mk1s have hit the 400 mile mark. I've changed both laces, but it looks like I've got quite a while yet before I can order some mk2s
I did the Hobble in mine and over 32 miles they were just fine and dandy :thumbup:
A bit like most shoes, these just ain't gonna work for some folk.
Mk1 - I did find them very slippery on wet rock as well, but I wasn't much bothered about that, and thought they were generally a great shoe for the money - it was the fact that they disintegrated after a few weeks that bothered me!
But obviously many , like yourself , have had a positive experience with them, and found them hard wearing. Maybe i'm just very heavy on my shoes. I don't know whether to try to Mk2 or not, but I'm wary of buying another pair,as i said.
