I had a mate years ago (Rocking Ray) who said I looked like Sal Mineo. It's a fair while ago now :closed:

Looked up old Sal... Hope you have more luck than he did!

Can't really see the likeness myself, but as you say, maybe it was a while ago.

don't supose anyone is planning a recee of part of this either tomorrow or Thursday? Although I ran it last year there are bits that I really cannot remember- probably because I followed and prayed.

I'm up for Thursday if you are Karen. Let me know where & when to meet & I'll see you there - whichever bits you want to give a go. I was injured last year so I haven't checked any of it out.

was thinking park in Tod. and join route up above cross stone somewhere. was wondering about checking out route near Gorple Res? then after Widdop short cut back to New Bridge as we know the bit out to Withens from Hobble. Pick up route again at New Bridge thru to Luddenden foot. Ideally up to start but could always short cut to Nab End then want to try Nab End to Erringden as I am sure people went lots of ways there last year. then either over Stoodley or not and back to car.

Sounds a good plan. Where in Tod? The market car parks aren't free, but there are a couple that are just up the Burnley road: Dalton St & Stansfield Rd - according to the www. No idea whether there'll be space in them, but there are residential streets around there anyway. How about meeting by the railway bridge by the market, on Burnley Road? Name your time & I'll see you there. I'll have Merlin with me.
