Withdrew from Blubberhouses, Jez - achilles injury, so was able to drink last night without having to rise early today.

Good stuff Ian - the Bankhouse pub garden has some of the best views in Leeds area - oh and they usually have a decent beer or 2 on, not that I've been in for a few months, was down the Abbey Inn at bottom of Pollard Lane last night.

That's a shame Martin, hope you're on the mend.

A bottle of Dorothy Goodbody Wholesome Stout, followed by a Thwaites Nutty Black which was fantastic compared to the last time I tried it !

Last nights pre concert consumption was:
London Brewers Alliance Collaboration Stout at 6.8%
    Leeds Midnight Bell
    Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted
    A Guinness
Then at the venue they only had lager on, which, after those fine ales, I had 2 sips of & left.
British Sea Power were fantastic ! Not sure if they would have been as good sober.

I am impressed by the 6.8% starter Jez

Managed to buy a couple of bottles of Dorothy Goodbody stout this weekend.
I can't explain how they eluded Jez.
