One of our favourite summer evening runs is to park by Howgill parish church ( Chapel Beck ) and run a circuit of Birk Haw, Swarth Greaves, Bram Rigg, Bram Rigg Top, The Calf, White Fell Head, White Fell then descend by Castley and Gateside farms and hopefully get 'buzzed' by the notorious 'Howgill buzzard'

Coming off Helvellyn summit approx 10.15 this morning, wearing fluorescent jacket and heading west. I was approaching from Brown Cove but you were out of sight after a few seconds!

It's common to see fell shoe prints on Ovenden Moor but not runners. Up there with Ogden Nomad early afternoon we saw one lady runner descending from Withins and another runner dropping from Ogden Kirk quarry towards Ogden Clough falls. Was it yooooooouuuuuu?

Was it you heading S, handrailing along the wall, from High Street trig, as we were heading up; about 11.15 a.m. on Saturday 13th April? Thick clag / almost white-out conditions.

Skoda Octavia estate, driving on the M6 Southbound on Saturday with a couple of bikes on the top. Spotted the FRA membership sticker. Anyone from these parts?

Wow Josh, this really does sound hopeful!. I was at Loughrigg the other night just to watch this year and as I knew you were going to be present thought I'd come and introduce myself. I couldnt even spot you or anyone from Leicester in the same field so the chances of a random FRA spot on the M6 seem quite remote.

Haha. It's my second motorway-FRA-sticker-related spot, but no forthcomers yet (last time was a red Audi estate about a year ago. Anyone?).

I did see a girl in a Notts club top so probably one of your family.

Yes that would have been one of my girls. I was a bit gutted not to run as it was such cracking conditions but since moving clubs from Notts to Dark Peak its been one long round of continuous injuries. Looks like you had a good run though.
