    Danbert?

How many titles is that now since you started tick tocking? 2 or 3?

Clearly the end of the road... lost game 1.. won 25 of the next 29 games.. incredible form.

Yes you've won it, well done but it's the bigger picture I like. We now have the measure of you head to head, I no longer feel afraid to play you because I know we can beat you.

You got a class act in Van Persie and ultimately it's his goals that have won you the league, where-as our forwards have been quite poor, or sold or out injured. If we get a proper goal getter in the summer, we'll be back, because man for man i genuinely believe we are the better team. We are 20 odd goals off last season and that's why we aren't champions again. A good summer and watch the blue lion roar again !

Starting IX I think you are stronger..

But you also make a good point re the forwads.. RVP's impact was huge but made even more so as your forwards just have not been on form.. 12 goals I think is your leading scorer.. they've all got 8-12 goals..

But we've had some huge seasons from Rio and Carrick in particular, but also in De Gea we now have a quality keeper and teams know that so they aren't looking to target him as much.. whilst I still rate Hart him and Kompany weren't as good this year, Hart especially just didn't quite seem happy, some great games but looked edgier this year.

Well done Man United. Great goal by van Persie as part of his hat-trick last night as well. IMHO I don't believe they would have won the title without van Persie so you have to give a lot of credit to Alex Ferguson for bringing him to the club.

City last year were 6 points better off.. they've dropped too many points. United have had a good season but last season was exceptional in how many points we both got.. quite rare that two teams have such good form.

Last year we had 82 points after 34 games.. this season 84.. we've scored less goals this season..

I think we'd have won regardless, but thats also why we paid 24 million for a 28 year old and maybe he helped deflate cities season.

I'm not sure City's starting 11 are stronger.

It might seem a strange thing to say, especially with Utd winning the league so early by such a big margin, but Utd are in transition and I'm not sure that Fergie knows his best team at the moment - I certainly don't.
Just to explain, most would have Ferdinand and Vidic as the centre back pairing, but arguably now Jones / Evans is better.

His team on paper against City last time looked decent, but Young started and he hasn't been as effective of late, whilst Valencia was on the bench. Also Giggs started, and as "good for age" as he is, I think he is found wanting sometimes in the bigger games these days and Kigawa or Cleverley may have been better to have in the starting line up.

From City's perspective, the starting 11 from Old Trafford were the best 11 except Aguero should always start in my opinion, instead of Nasri. Having said that. the selection of Nasri probably helped them in terms of possession and gave them a higher level of control with perhaps less threat.

Anyway, overall it's been a disappointing season in my view. I have been less interested in football than ever before. Our teams haven't performed well in Europe and there just seems to be something lacking.
This Utd team doesn't rank among the best although it's clearly pretty good, Arsenal and Chelsea have been below par and lacked quality and City just seem to have gone back in to a shell when I would have expected them to really try and play like Champions.

I hope next season is better, but I feel Utd may do similar again. This team will get better, he has options and he's only a top midfield signing away from taking them up a notch.
City - well subject to the FA Cup they may well have to rebuild, Chelsea need defence and attack sorting out, Arsenal almost need a new squad.

I can see Spurs being the main threat next year if they keep their players and add a little.

I'm not sure.. I just can't see anyone other than MU or MC.. I'd be surprised if any other teams wins it in the next 2 seasons.

Chelsea have been out of the picture for a few years now.. they need major investment, Arsenal similar.

Spurs.. I just think they are still not good enough.

I find it amusing that the bitters are putting this title solely down to RVP when they are so reliant on one person (Yaya Toure) themselves.

I wonder how many press conferences he'll storm out of this season when people ask him to justify why your season has fallen apart before new years day?

Just having a quick peruse.. a few questioned Fergie.. can't believe they did so....
