    Shane Sutton suggested at the end of last year that Wiggo could go for a Giro/Vuelta double this year so he could perhaps support Froome at the Tour then go for the Vuelta, having said that I've seen Richie Porte's name mentioned as possible team leader for the Vuelta

    It's a shame there isn't something these top-level cyclist can't take to keep them going through these minor ailments. You know, for the good of the sport.

    Maybe a cocktail of drugs taken at low-level could help them keep up their performance levels during times of stress or when they are a little bit 'run down' :closed:

    A 4th stage win for Cav, most he has won in a single Giro. Could be one or two more if he goes on to the end

    He was knacked at the end though. Longest stage and to do that was a massive effort.

    He looked completely Donald Ducked at the finish, probably just Wednesdays stage and the final stage to Brescia where Cav can win again
