Yep, its a recommended route, some bits are compulsory such as summitting each of the 3,000s, the three food stations and one on Bwlch Main

As long as I can trace it on an OS map that'll be great. I'm not sure about summitting three food stations though. Are they something like butter mountains :w00t:?
no it's vegan![]()
Is it just me but I cant find any details about the race day on the web sitr what time dose it start where do we need to park etc...
Do we know how many are entered to run? (in relation to me, 'run' in the loosest sense...)

What are the pros & cons of going E or W of Llyn Ogwen? The route given goes E, which is clearly longer. What is the issue with the shorter route to the W? Steeper of course, but shorter, so why isn't it faster?
I am supposing safety issues are being applied because Bristly Ridge, North ridge on Tryfan and the south ascent of Pen y Ole Wen are out of bounds for the race as per race website.

You have to click around a few pages, here's a link http://www.vegan-welsh-3000s.co.uk/#/v3k/4574002192.
The bit about DQ is at the bottom of the page, 'Anyone coming down Bristly Ridge or the North Face of Tryfan or up the South corner of Pen yr Ole Wen will be disqualified.'
