    Re: Tonight's Real Ale

Once upon a time I was able to visit a beer festival the day before a fell race but in all fairness to my running partner in the CWR (especially if he is down wind:thunbdownand the rigours of Leg 4 I have decided to give this one a miss this year:

However this festival hot on the heels of a Belgian excursion might just be the ticket (or should I do Ennerdale instead? )

blimey, supped a few Hawkshead New Zealand pale ales last night on the way home from work, thought I could get away with 3 pints before going home and functioning properly for the rest of the evening, needless to say after 3 pints of the 6% gem I was about trolleyed revess wasn't best pleased, she had to cook for herself on the other hand she got the rest of the night off from me as I passed out shortly after getting home

Had a couple of pints of Oakham Ales JHB last night. Very light and hoppy and would make a good session beer.
