What he needs is a good feed. Maybe some sort of Pyrenean steak?

    Hats off to Cav.
Absolutely - that has to be one of his best stage wins - incredible effort he put in.

Bad weather still at the Giro, yesterday the climb to Sestriere was omitted as the descent was deemed too dangerous because of ice, today's stage will not being finishing at the top of Galibier but lower down the slopes

Still a decent stage though. Hoping the weather will improve for Thurs - Sat mountain stages. Nibali looks strong but hopefully Santambrogio and Uran can put him uner pressure. Can't see Cadel Evans holding onto 2nd.

The young Colombian Betancur looks a future star. Would expect him to win 1 of the last stages.

Evans is chipping away at Cav's Points lead, only 6 points behind now with 2 flat stages and 3 mountain stages left

Stage win for Nibali in the mountain TT today and a 4 minute overall lead over 2nd placed Evans now. Evans finished 25th so no points and Cav still in the red jersey with 2 summit finishes and the flat final stage to come.

Well if Nabali wins at least he will have won a proper bike race as distinct from you-know-who in you-know-what in 2012.

    Re: Giro

Stelvio and Gavia still closed, so an alternative route is in place now for those...

I just hope they will be open Mid July when I am planning on riding them... With the weather we have had so far, I have no hopes! I am still ridng around in the snow on top of the Brecon Beacons :w00t:

Today's stage cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, don't suppose Cav will be too disappointed

Blimey, Cav will be pleased. Cuddles will have to go for it tomorrow.
