Seriously though just wear what you feel comfortable in, just make sure its not the first time you have tried to wear them running that distance/terrain etc. Made that mistake myself in the past wearing a different shoe for the first time in a race, blister tastic!
I will ignore alfs comment. I have just done a very short run tonight in them and was very impressed but Forrest you are right it would be a risk too far to wear them tomorrow so it will have to be mudclaws as they are the only fell shoes I have. I have got the evos for the Lakeland 50 so can give them a go next weekend instead.
