Whilst out for a run this afty around last nights ill fated Top O Leach fell race route ( no navigational problems ! ) I came up with some new rules for this race.
    1. Men dressed as women ( the majority of the field ) should take upmost care when sticking pins into their inflatable chests.
    2. When registering all runners must use their real name. ie Superman wont do you must sign in as Clark Kent.
    3. Anyone coming along dressed as Spider-Man must be prepared to stick safety pins in their Lycra.
    4. When registering you must enter your full address, Gotham City does not suffice.
    5. It is permissible to pin your numbers to your hairy chest if you come dressed as a monkey.
I'm sure there may be other rules which may be in place come Boxing Day so ill keep you updated.

I'm sure I saw a couple of people wearing a bath in some photos once. Does that count as waterproof? Would you need to have the plug in?

Only bathtubs whereby the plug is securely fitted with a retaining chain will be allowed

Can I just wrap the chain round the taps (a bit like pinning my number to my shorts), or does it have to be secured properly to the overflow? Do the taps have to be connected to a bladder? Does a non-slip mat have to be installed in the bath - don't want people slipping over?? Is there a regulation size rubber duck to be carried in the bath?

Sorry for the questions but I don't want to get disqualified unnecessarily....

    Correct.

And as far as I recollect there was no waterproof shower cap in evidence. Good grounds for a retrospective DQ.

Good to have some ' lightheartedness ' after all of the serious stuff.

Actually your wrong. They had shower caps, but I think there are plenty of other DQ possibilities
