I couldn't do the race this year due to injury but I was up round Hart Crag walking and occasionally a bit of jogging (yippppeeeee!) :thumbup:
I was descending from Hart Crag into Deepdale to look at the waterfall below Erne Nest Crag when the clag on St Sunday Crag lifted around 1pm and I could see some runners approaching the checkpoint. Not for the first time this year I was envious of them

The best AM race in the calendar IMHO.

Not long after the start you run past a field on your left in which I have noticed campers & tents. Is this an official site? If so where is the access to it/site name - might look at sticking the van on there for race day so the little 'un has somewhere to run round..................

I know they had cut offs last year, due to the bad weather and I'm sure it was said they will be keeping them in, the cut off was at Grisedale Tarn

Do you know if the cut offs are in place this year??? And if so how long???
