On Friday I ran up Ben Nevis with Stolly having eaten a very nice bean burrito at the Grog and Gruel the night before washed down with a pint of local ale and two taliskers, I might do the same if I get into the race next year

Carb loading isn't necessary for a two hour run. The body stores around 2 hours worth of glycogen in the muscles anyhow.

Filling your face the night before won't have any effect either apart from making you feel like crap. Carb loading usually takes place over the course of a few days leading up to a race.

Woodzy there is a fine Italian just 30 yards or so from the main high st. They have a bike on the High st advertising their whereabouts, from memory the bike isn't to far from the supermarket (can't remember which one). When you see the bike just go uphill.

Easy. Its Fort William FC ground. Be less than half a mile.
