If its round the park, and I'm guessing it is, there's that fantastic tarmac stretch between the swings and the putting green where I'd really be able to put the hammer down!

Well, I am no longer a Park Run virgin.
Broke my duck at Huddersfield this morning.
Good hard session but didn't enjoy the constant flogging.
    Much prefer hills and grass.

Good man! Aye, Hudders is a whole load of tarmac for sure.
Why not venture over to Marple one Saturday, maybe as a warm-up before a Peak District (e.g. Hayfield) race.
We have lots of grass (muddy after rain), and a couple of hillocks along the river section. No tarmac at all.
Even our illustrious CL seems to enjoy the Marple flogging - as he's been back for more.

Cheers OB1 will come over one week.
Fast flat running is one of my weak links and I need to get a little quicker on the flats, mainly on the run in.

Well done Trev, good to see you there.
Very impressive, top 40 out of 450 runners!
And well done Fleeter who finished second.
My position was 69 so I can't complain!

Well done. I recall your & my last outing at Hudders on New Years Day when they varied the course to avoid a 5 foot wide puddle!
I note that Stagger dovetailed nicely with you today with a 69 as well (Age Grade %), just a few seconds shy of that 70%.

Well done you 2 today, is skip'en a hilly track?

Hudds almost flat. 70ft of climb in the full course.

Swoop went well and claimed to have lost weight. (looked like a clothes peg in a yellow vest)

Skipton is 3 laps and has 4 climbs in total. I'm told it's 90 seconds slower than Lister's park, Bradford
