Holmesy was 23.01, Bailey a few seconds behind him. I would have put money on Ian being the fastest downhill.
Hi Roadrunner
We are having a good laugh in work at the results,we work with John Farrell. He is a good runner but had a problem with the chip. I think he got to the summit in about an hour and down in about 33 mins.
I managed 1 hr 50 mins this year, need to work on my ascent but otherwise happy enough.
Yes, something wrong with that descent time. John Thompson of Skelmersdale Boundary Harriers passed John Farrell on the way down having been behind him on the way up.
Like Sinatra & Brandon said we work with John Farrell and its a bit of a mystery how his time has gone wrong. He did only just make the start because of traffic problems. John is a good runner and his summit time should be about 58/59 mins. He passed me at 1:01 having just come off the railway track. Think his descent should be about 34 mins. Still a good time though. Pity he is away on holiday to have a chuckle at this.
What no DVD? Are we not having a DVD of the race for sale this year then? I think a lot of people look forward to this. If this is the case it will be a real shame.
