It was very busy last night around 6pm. I'm intrigued to see how they go on in the future and good luck to them I say

Finally got round to drinking The Mayan. It was a little too chocolatey for me. I'm not a massive fan when brewers actually add chocolate to beer. However, it was still a good beer and the gentle heat of the chipolte added a really interesting tang to the finish.

    Sorry about The Mayan !

A bottle of Lancaster Black followed by a Thwaites Tavern Porter tonight. Both excellent.

no worries, always happy to try new stuff. in fact it's almost compulsory - the next one could be the best one!

getting stuck into a few bottles of Harvest Pale tonight. also picked up a bottle of Holy Cow by Ilkley - a cranberry infused milk stout no less!

Hand a few in the rat after work, a mighty fine one from Portebello but the name escapes me, it was a 4.0% light coloured ale. Also had a rather mighty Marstons Old Empire, cracking stuff at 5.7% Got a carry out of the Portobello gear too enjoy whilst watching the Arsenal game, its what midweeks are made for
