The rocks were really really slippy a couple of weeks back and my walsh's were sliding all over the place - the mudroc 330's would have been better but they give my achilles grief.

However the nice man in Pete Blands gave me a new pair of insole the 3 mm ones so they may be okay???

I'll be wearing my mudroc 330's (I'm giving them another chance) need that grip for the descent off Scafell and Dalehead.

Did the Wasdale in a pair of 290's and was slipping all over the place when ever I was on grass, gained ground on bloke in front coming down off Whinn Rigg on my bum

Anyway not sure about footwear, Walsh as there are grassy bits, or Mizuno Wave Harriers as there is a lot of rock? Any thoughts yous in the know?

Bit late in the day I know, but If you've got some superfeet try popping them in the 330's I've had no trouble with the shoes rubbing since I started using them. You do get a bit more heel lift, but I'd have that any day over the pain they used to give me
