HAHA I think that was Jonesy. He probably saw 0.70mile and thought you'd done another stupid long 70 mile run or something without seeing the time.

Sorry to hear that Iain, hope you are better soon. I guess you will be using the time to throw yourself into core work or whatever you top guys do.

    Best of luck with it.

I'm amused that my 36 mile pace, is the same as my 18 mile pace, which is also the same as my 7 mile pace.

    Consistent, even if consistently slow

Road run for me today, only slightly faster than my hill pace. I'll stick to the hills as they're just as quick.

Oh, cheapish smartphone working nicely btw. Set it going, chuck it in a small dry bag and stop it at the end. Walk in the door back at home, 5 minutes later the phone has done its thing and job done.

Hadn't checked the group for here for a while and was amazed at how active it looks! Lots of running going on good work!

Just discovered a usefull tool. I Just had a run tonight that had a spurious point which gave me a two minute Kilometer and added over a Km to my run. This tool allowed me to select the start and end of the dodgy part of the activity and it creates a realistic line between them. I then exported the "fixed" file. I deleted the old activity and and manually uploaded the new file to Strava - jobs a good 'un'!

If you are running off road you need to select the activity type as Car. If you select a bike it assumes you are on a road and insists on following roads.

Cars must be allowed to go off road!

Nice little external tool that accesses Strava's API to generate an annual summary for you.
