Alf.... before Munich, United were just another English football club, little different to others. After 1958, because of the tragic death toll, and the sympathy they received, they gained a worldwide following. United owe a huge debt to the men who lost their lives in Munich. In many people’s eyes however, they have used the tragedy to their advantage over the years, one thing that is unquestionable however, is the disgraceful way they treated some of those lads and their families.

As a City fan the worst thing to me is how we still have some thick bastards at our club who can't see that shouting 'Munich' at them is the worst thing they could do, as they love it. They get the moral high ground and play the victim instead of being made to face the shame they should get from the way they treated the real victims. I despair at how stupid and gullible some City fans are, when they feed these phoney bastards with the ammunition.

Can we not just agree that from owners squatting in toilets tugging off while some woman has a dump to evil despots, from betting scandals through sex scandal after sex scandal and on to players buying off rape claims, from arguments about horse semen to the kids sewing garments in third world sweatshops while players sponsored by those companies make millions...the sight of two huge football clubs arguing over which one has more integrity is classic bald men fighting over a comb stuff. They are businesses run by men whose goal is to make money or have an expensive toy to play with, employing people who would leave and head to the very club the fans hate most if paid enough. Clubs would play Pol Pot up front if he scored enough.

Judging from the team he picked David Moyes is desperate to win something, he must have given up on the league

He was brilliant again today wasn't he? I am trying to think of another player who has made this impact on the top division of English football since his arrival. The pundits say "wait and see" on how long he carries on like this but so far he is better than any other player I have seen in this country for the time he has been here. For Liverpool to get him to stay on another deal was the biggest Christmas present they could hope for.

    We were good today,

WH were awful, and dirty.. Januzaj did dive but to be fair seeing the challenges you could understand why he was in the air... the tackle on Chico was awful.. should have been a red.

Rooney and Januzaj were class, but our average age is great. Take out Evra and the team has a great age.. and also plenty of local NW lads.. I know the city fans won't understand that but you see someone like Welbeck working and he works because he's a fan, not for 200k a week...

He is at times, but Ronaldo was too, but later took to the air more. its how you escape injury. At the moment he's diving, but he's also going airborn at times to avoid injury.. you dont break legs if the contact happens when you are airborn..

Watch that game. The challenge on Hernandez was disgusting, career ender, luckily he just got in the air and avoided snapped ankles/shins like Ramsay.

In the Uk we still ref andpunish by consequences, not actions...

Januzaj will pull it back. Today Young got a bad challenge and went down but was very much trying to stay up, as it was he was offside so it maynot havemade MOTD.. but he's deffo making an effort, so players do learn.

But Januzaj s the best skills player at United right now, wonderful ability, balance but also has that devil. Today he took a few knocks, dived, was pushing and shooving, but then when collins et al really tried to get at him he scored a wonderful goal.. Ronaldo had that similar 'kick me and I'll make a fool of you' mentality... I think he'll end up world class.

4 wins on the bounce.. tick tock...
