If its on tomorrow please can you let everyone know early so that we can plan our day.

Apologies if anyone turned up today.I worked hard from 3am to let as many people know as possible. I got it on the FRA website , forum, facebook , e mail and text but inevitably some people slipped through the net. Big apologies if you checked Ambleside AC website which I couldn't use as our administrator on holiday-sorry an oversight by us which we will rectify. Race has been postponed by 24 hours, same arrangements apply. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Cheers for your understanding!

Race postponed for 24 hrs. Just had confirmation from a new set of volunteer marshalls, thanks to them it looks like we can go ahead.

There has been a message from the organiser that the Wansfell Race, 27/12/2013, has been cancelled because of the bad weather.

I saw the poor forcast on MWIS but thought as this is only a short race and runners are only on top for a few seconds that it would be 'ON'.
Ah well, I popped into Pete Bland's on the way back home and picked up some new 212's and new cag instead.

Thanks everyone -today went great! Thanks especially to all the volunteers who as in the usual fell runner style turned up, smiled, offered their services and quietly got on with it -not just from our club either. Brill!!!!

Thanks Tindersticks-much appreciated. Tbh everyone was so lovely it restored my faith in human (well fell runner) nature. A great team effort. Results are done and been sent to FRA website and AAC website but not sure if they will be uploaded by them tonight-prob not...If I can find another site I will have a go and post on here where they are. Brill to see how many under 23s were out!
