That's probably right, although I'd be astounded if I actually were to beat dantodman in a race. Mind you, I haven't worked out who you are yet Dan! I'll be searching the results in the Hebden for anyone called Dan, but I should think he'll be miles ahead of me.

I dont know who you are either although we have done a few of the same events. Dont think I will be doing the Hebden, missed the entry and am now injured so not sending one for the reserve list. If I am fit i will Contact them and try and pay on the day (like last year). Have entered the Hobble though, have you ?

Haha it was only a (better ) idea but I'll defer to your better know how Al. And Daz runners would simply have to declare their best race each month. In my virtual reality world the table would also have a position in the race column too (eg 10/100) on which the point scoring would be based so a) results could easily be checked and b) runners looking to show off their prowess (Al?) would also have the benefit of their real result being seen. Anyway I will say no more and muddle on with the existing system

I've made the division split at 65pt average - I admit it's a bit artificial, but it gives me & Amex a chance of a podium finish!

new entrants with no track record from 2013 will go into whichever league their first result indicates, but if this turns out to be anomalously high/low they can move between leagues until their average settles down a bit

Out of 45 race's only 3 scored more than 65 (66, 67 & 71)

Count me in again Daz, after all someone needs to get relegated from the Ian Holmes Premier League.

Been struggling with a foot problem for last 3 months so only doing the occasional x-c race/parkrun at present but will hopefully start scoring points by March - again likely to be a mix of hilly non-FRA races* plus the occasional FRA race.

*My garmin stats for last year tell me that on average my non-FRA races were hillier than my FRA races!

Evening Daz - enjoyed my first year, so count me in this time as well. Hoping for another Full House, so will be starting off January with Stanbury Splash, followed in February by Mickleden Straddle & Flower Scar.

I know everyone is pretty set on keeping the scoring as it is (if it ain't broke etc.....) but as we're not getting any younger, perhaps our scores could reflect the first person home in our age category? Might not need the Kenny Stuart Conference then......? Just a thought!
