Terrible fans, Leeds and no wonder everyone hates them.
As a Bradford fan I completely agree, but is that just because they're the local rivals? I'm sure Watford fans will say Luton are the worst fans. West Ham > Milwall, etc.

What do others think? Scum or just like any other big club?

On the plus side, I won £25 on the lucky programme number that day which for a 16 year old in 1971 was a fortune. Unfortunately the f**king postmen were on strike so it was weeks before I got my cheque

Can't really argue too much about hypocrisy Carlos. There is a lot of it, but again, are Leeds much worse than many others? Man u give it, but don't like it back about Munich. As for inter-Yorks club rivalry, I don't get that involved as I'm from Teesside mainly. Had a bit with Boro, and my brother-in-law happens to be Wednesday! But he's fairly mild mannered!! (...and still hates Leeds!). Married in to Man U/Boro fans so I usually keep my council!

I saw well known Baggies fan Frank Skinner in stand up in Leeds in the late 1990's. His opening comment as he came on stage without any explanation was "It was never offisde!" to be followed by "that's for hardcore Leeds fans". It was very funny.

I've never ever heard Leeds fans sing about Hillsborough (Man U fans do that!) so that's just total b*****ks on your part and I've been to a lot more Leeds games than you. We played Liverpool at Elland Road on the 10th anniversary of Hillsborough and you could have heard a pin drop during the minute's silence. Some scum bags have and do sing about Munich and I've always thought it was disgusting

The Bradford fire? Racist songs about how they rather be a p£%I than a Turk. Songs supporting the uda, songs about shooting black people....nig£%R nig£%R pull the trigger. C'mon you know they are true. There are decent Leeds fans, I work with a load its just when they go to a game they change for the worse

TBF the club, and most fans are appalled by anything regarding Hillsborough. Ferguson was always very quick to be with Dalglish for anything about Hillsborough. It certainly happened, but it was and is a disgrace.

But I do think as a club they supported Liverpool.

Most of that is ancient history thank God. Racist chants like that were commonplace at lots of grounds in the early to mid 1980's but I've not heard the like for a long time.

I've not been to a match when Leeds are playing since early 90's. Sometimes I do miss them at old Trafford because no matter how shit Leeds are you always know they would be up for it. Old Trafford is full of noise again instead of quite prawn sandwich brigade. A good rivalry.
