It's great that the event has a 10 hour limit though to cater for everyone. Thanks to all the volunteers who were willing to give up so much time.
Well said Will. And an incredible time young sir. Hats off to you. Well done !!

Thanks Jez, was good to see you briefly, must have been hard for you watching and not being in the action! Are you posting your photos online?

It was hard Will ! I then had to go & watch Jacob race aswell ! I made up for it with a nice trot up Beamsley with my brother-in-law yesterday. I've put the photos on the IH FB page. A couple are a bit blurry with the pace you chaps were going !

This was a heavily photographed event, what with SportSunday, the Woodentops and you, Jez (I'll see if I can find yours on fb when I get home). I took some as well as I bimbled my way round:

I hope the girl who cut her knee is alright. She retired at the Whetstone Gate CP as I was taking shelter to put my gloves on. Those flagstones are lethal. They have caused injuries every year since they appeared, with trips and slips. I go so carefully along them they provide a long breather opportunity in readiness for hitting it hard again along the LHS of the wall.
