Ha ha, excellent advice as coldsteel50 did the Waltz last year! Think he's going for the Waltz again, though, which is probably sensible as it isn't a choice between an easy race and a tough race but a choice between a tough race and a tougher race.

Trevor, I know your Mrs is a tidy looking lass; but entering the junior races is stretching it a bit?

I think you mean that she's entered the TWA?

If Wynnie assigns me to my usual duties, I should see Linda on the summit of Causey and in the finish funnel.

Not too slow & steady - she'll need to push on a bit to meet that cut-off at Newlands Hause.

I'm sure the old girl will bat on when required.

She is a great ultra runner and like a fair potter in the lakes.

Wynny has now confirmed we can sell white race mugs, but please do get your orders in quickly! - the nominal deadline is 1st March for orders. I have enabled the site to take orders for them.
The usual blue mugs will be awarded to winners.

For those that missed it the WA and TWA are being run on 19th April under other insurance - but are not in the book - enter on the site HERE

Please note - the WA! is still uncertain and may not be run.

Spoke to Wynny today, who is away from home at the mo.
She asked me to put up a note to encourage those who want a race mug to get their orders in. (unless you are fast enough to win one that is!!)
There are only a few days left before she has to place the order with manufacturer.
