"Cheviot" shoes

Tried them earlier this afternoon on my usual 'xc'/footpath/bridleway route.

As with everyone else, I was impressed with the grip, but they're not the most flexible of shoes.

I was impressed after stopping every so often at the really claggy bits to look at how they'd cleared/left an impression, & was more than satisfied. although for mixed terrain like I still prefer my usual Roc-Lite 315's

I've just come across these shoes on Sport Pursuit, interestingly going for £23.70 when they're priced at £19.95 on the Start Fitness website (here).

Just wondering if anyone's got any added opinions after over a year's worth of use? Did they fall apart after a few months or are they still going strong?

Is the mk1 identical to the Running Bear Ground Control? They look the similar on photographs; if so why is the Ground Control so much more expensive?

No, I have had both they are quite different, much more grip from More Miles. Cheviots fell apart quite quickly although havn't had the running bears long enough to compare.

After only 60 miles the upper has started going in the crease between toes and foot on mine. I have a second pair of size 12s that I doubt will be shown the light of day.
