    Seems that Mourinho is set to throw the towel in on the Premier league and gift it to liverpool at the weekend, putting all his eggs in one chumpions league basket

    I think had we shown progress, even without CL football, he'd be here still, it was the lack of progress. Moyes changed the team every week, I don't think he knew what his best XI was and who his preferred center halfs were.

    Iain you were champions last year; a minor move backwards with some positive signs (CL qualification, one or two players coming on) would probably have done

    To be fair Sir Bob had a stellar career as a manager so it's only natural that he should use that knowledge and have a major say in appointing a manager
