I have two options for June depending on the Jury's decision ...

The first (uncontroversial) option is the Daz H Buttermere horseshoe, me 5:12:30, winner 4:46:28, giving me 91pts.

The second is the Baslow Boot Bash. This is a LDWA type event (although I don't think it is officially under their banner - I don't think it comes under anyone's banner!). A few people from the forum champs have done it in the past - BritNic, Splatcher - although I'm not sure if it was used as a forum champs counter? It was a 45km loop around the peak district with ca 1000m of ascent, so it just scraps into cat C. Pretty much all off road and plenty of rough terrain. I took first place in that with a time of 4h18min, so that would be 100pts

Looks like you've got some tough calls, Daz!

Glorious sunshine at Clougha Pike, so good for spectating, but rubbish for my points tally, so the 77 at Bridestones will stand.

July looking a little sparse at the moment. Definitely at the Wharfedale TTT race on the Sunday, but after that, who knows!

    Cheers,
    Phil

I was on for a score in the 80's at Skiddaw until I succumbed to injury/pain and waddled down last couple mile, ended up 1:28:55 compared to Kim Collinson win in 1:11:07 Looking at names on results I think a few forumites nipped past me on Jenkin Hill, Alan Lucker, Stewart Stoddart. Anyway that'll be my July score as I wont be running again anytime soon 72 please Daz

Marty mark.i reckon if there were runners and times were taken you should be able to include it, after all you could go to a fell race that clashes with a champs one and win, not your fault who turns up or not

noel - we just had another case of "rounding up to 100" and decided if you didn't actually win you'd get 99
Splatcher - can't see a prob with "2 Rings" - there's quite a few in the results, not like it was just you!
MarkyM - pretty sure we've had BaslowBB claimed in a previous year, so no prob there either (Well Done! btw)
Rev - oh dear! hope you're back out there asap
RobF - Congrats on being first person to register 7 months, your July score is smallest, so currently no increase to total (based on 6 best months)...
my chances of a decent score at Kentmere are laughable, so have decided to do Wormstones this Wednesday...

Fair enough - that makes sense. I'll try harder next time.

Reasonable scores so far this month - 73 at Hope & 77 at Hathersage. Smaller fields likely at Black Rocks (tomorrow) & Bamford (tomorrow week) so might break into the mid 80s again yet...

Not doing Holme Moss now as I've been subbed-in for Kentmere - hope to see some of you there! After that, probably try to turn up to at least one mid-week/Sunday short a week (or as many as I can) in the east of the Peak, until Sedbegh Hills in August.
