Inspired by a warm up with Tindersticks before Harrock Hill 4 on Wednesday, (including an account of the three in a day Sunday) I'm having a crack at Pendle 3 Peaks and then Blackshaw Head Fete tomorrow.

    I'm reckoning on....
P3P having similar stats and profile (sort of) to the Cardington Cracker and I got round that in under 1:40 last year,
35 mins drive with no traffic to Blackshaw Head
    second race starts at 2pm

It's doable, maybe, possibly....isn't it? I'll have a go and see how I fair.

Great to chat to Tindersticks at the finish of yesterday's Arnside Knott race. Despite having done T of P the day before he looked as fresh as a daisy.

The Fishwick machine just keeps on going!

Stretton Six Summits, a really hard race last Saturday, followed by a win at the Bluebell Run on Sunday.

Tuesday evening saw Darren finish 10th at Mearley Clough.

And now I see that he ran the Caw Fell Race last evening finishing 4th.

    What next?

Perhaps May Queen on Friday evening?

I know that Darren intends running Y Gader (Cader Idris) on Saturday.

Maybe the Lantern Dash or Glaramara on Sunday?

The man goes on and on and on...

    Impressive stuff.

A little light Fishwickery for me today: Bradford Parkrun at 9.00, and a quick scoot to Saltaire for the Yorkshire Vets Relays. Two events done by morning coffee time.
(For some reason, I was placed in a V35 team: a category for which I qualified almost 25 years ago. The email to me from the team captain finished with 'LOL'.)

Langdale Horseshoe and Wasdale Show in the same day is a new level of Fishwicking. Well done Mr D Fishwick.

Sumo's individual effort at Wasdale Show was the single craziest thing I've ever seen on the fells. The entertainment value was through the roof watching (& filming) that one.

Sorry I know that Sumo's effort wasn't Fishwicking. I just wanted to archive it under the same entry and pinch myself at the same time.
