Quite possibly doing a recce of part of the route on Friday 19th December or Saturday 20th December; probably backwards from Edale and up on to Kinder, perhaps to Snake Pass and then back. Potentially head out for a short recce after Famous Grouse this Sunday too, depending on the temptation of a chip butty...
If anyone is interested in joining me for any of these dates, please get in touch. Not looking to go anything approaching race pace, more interested in establishing a clearer idea of the route and brushing up on nav skills.
Bump - if anyone is interested in joining me for a recce next week on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th, please get in touch. Now decided that I'm most likely to recce from Crowden road crossing to Kinder Downfall (or thereabout), then reverse this - probably with slightly different route to look at other possibilities - to get back to my van at Crowden.
Might be up for it. Ping me a message nearer. I'm out guiding on this section on Monday.
