Aye, we have an inch in upper Calderdale, near J23 M62 and its still coming down.
2.25 inches here in wintry Wildboarclough; and still falling.
I quite like the idea and the kids are chuffed to bits. But we're expecting friends visiting tomorrow, and they might be called off.
So mixed feelings, I guess.
Bit lying on Hawes-Ingleton Road as we came over. Must be a bit up on Ingleborough!? Unfortunately I'll be at work again tomorrow, and Sunday! :/
I just know I'll be awoken with 'Do you want to build a snowman?' So I've got in first and built one in an old pair of talons so that I can pass to the question over to the left hand side of the bed.
3 inch of lying snow this morning. Very quite and peaceful too in the fresh stuff with the dogs.
A nice layer of snow on the upper hills this morning when I was out for a run. I left my usual path and followed some sheep tracks for a while in the deeper stuff. Great funI wore my Oroc 340s mainly because I knew the cobbled lane on the initial climb would be covered with solid ice as its a drainage channel off the fell and it was.
