I wondered who it was using me as a wind shield all the way up to Mill Hill. Got to Kinder Corner and the crafty bugger shot off like a scalded cat.
Cracking photos! Your shot of me bent double made the front page of the race website; quite why I'm bent double when the runner behind me is upright I cannot explain, maybe I was cowering from the wind... Great shot mind & I'm glad you didn't capture me whimpering on Kinder!
Twas me behind you although not upright for much longer as I face planted 10 mins later on descent off black hill, then had sole of my shoe hanging off on kinder had to wait till I got to bottom of Jacobs to
tie it back together with compass string,great ordeal tho'😀
Cheers Sam. I was talking to the mountain rescue guys afterwards.They are a great set of lads who do a very important job for no financial reward. I will certainly give a good donation next time I see a collection tin.
