    Incidentally the walkers I'd just passed as I got to you on your way down had the audacity to proclaim that as runners we shouldn't be there and were carving up the fellside. I drew him one of my most menacing looks which only made him laugh and if he could have kept his dog under control meaning a fight wouldn't break out with 'fi fi' and Dave I'd have had a word!
    They weren't LDWA amblers by the way!!
    It was good to see the fell as busy as it was, and to accidentally bump into a few familiar faces and friends! it's usually just Dave and I on murky days up there and as far as I can see the fells are there for us all to enjoy not to be criticised or chastised for having fun as you Bimble by. Made me wish I'd entered these events are by far the best :-)
