Big day today in the North East... gonna be emotional again

Nope, just hang that monkey.
What's going on at Leeds? Assistant coach Steve Thompson suspended for the rest of the season without manager Neil Redfearn being told about it. According to press reports, Redfearn also told not to pick top scorer Antenucci because if he scores one more goal it will trigger a bonus clause in his contract. Seems such a well run club![]()
Just got back from an Easter trip to Bury. We were absolute shite for 80 minutes then 2 goals in the last ten minutes and that's all forgotten, a happy trip home. As Greavesy used to say, it's a funny old game
Those are the days which make being a proper football supporter worthwhile. For all of the dire defeats and performances on rainy Tuesday nights in Rotherham, we get our gems where we fight back from two down for a last minute winner etc. A friend up here is an Exeter fan and they, of course, had a cracker of a result against Luton on Friday.
As for my lot, another 0-0 yesterday means that, after being talked about as outside play-off contenders all season, we now hover 2 points above relegation, haven't scored in (I worked it out!) 408 minutes and have a second striker (who admittedly plays behind the main striker, but even so) who last scored in November but is, apparently, too important to drop.
Spot on mate, one of my favourite recent matches is Plymouth away in November 2011. 1-0 down after 90 minutes of a pretty dire match and our thoughts turned towards the 320 mile trip home then a Nick Fenton equaliser in the 4th minute of injury time and the few of us who had made the trip were going mental. The armchair Premier League fans could never understand the feeling you get at moments like that
