Well most weekends I do a bit of 'back barman work (glasscollecting, restocking, cleaning up spillages & puke, etc) but I am also wanting to get trained up on the bar as well which is what I will be doing this week. It's mainly to keep some money coming in while I'm not working full time, however I also find it handy to get a bit extra 'pocket money' that I can spend on my bikes or save up to get a house (I wish!!).

It would be nice to see a bit more of the world & I did try & get commissioned when I was 21, but apart from that I've not really wanted to.
There's actually a lot more work in the IOM (you have far more chances of getting a job than in the UK, there's 0% unemployment, salary is far better & taxation a heck of a lot lower), you can get the best of both worlds (nightlife & the countryside). The only problem is housing is outrageously expensive & a lot of people my age have moved off to go to uni & haven't come back (not all of them though).
2 Manx Lads did the Kinder Trial today in style, next year maybe you as well AT.... I think they will be back!?
I know both Tom Cringle & Richard Sille, what were the results for the Kinder Trial?? They'd ran Ashurst Beacon the day before (Tom 17th, Richard 28th).
PS... wasted.... off to bed.... just got over calling out Mountain Rescue..... then all back safe,,,,,,,,,, to find, no phone reception to cancel the shout!
