Do days get any better asked Mr TopPoleCat above? Well yes they do - espec. when one wins the o/70 pot and team mate Brian takes the o/60. A super race and well organised.

Yeah, good bag for the Macclesfield lads. A big thanks to the organisers, especially those who stopped back to watch us out onto the road from that horrible field. Good craic in The Forge with Wharfee and Paul L over a pint of nice pale ale.

The Forge? That's on Inverie, i mean The Blacksmiths!

Might be - not sure I want to say. Anyway even if it is I would never divulge it to a polecat!

Hope the injury is on the mend.

Cracking race, packs a lot into 5 miles! Personally felt terrible but still enjoyed the run. Weather wasn't too bad in the end either, but I didn't envy the marshalls. Thanks to everyone who made it happen!

Did everyone get out okay? I think I was second out the field and had to give the first chap a push, so I can't imagine it got any better after a few more cars!

I think so, i was one of the last 5 or 6.

I think the ankle twist count this year was a record 3 as far as i could see.

Getting out of the parking field was good entertainment but do'able.

Just waxing lyrical about this event to a mate of mine and what a good do it was. Loved the village hall, loved the pies and of course the race route is simply magical. One of the best short A races around.

Thanks to all marshals - we were all thankful for clear, rain free weather.
