Classic Swoopism. We've missed you Colin!

I think I've only been to Anfield 5 or 6 times since the Premier League/all seater stadiums came into being but sadly I'm old enough to have been on the Kop in the Seventies, nights like St Etienne (European Cup quarter final) and Bruges (UEFA cup final first leg), can't see the atmosphere at any all seater stadiums matching those nights
Atmosphere has been pretty dull at places like Anfield and Old Trafford for many years now, too many out of towners sitting on plastic seats waiting for "their" team to hand out a drubbing so they can ponce about in replica shirts taking the piss out of supporters of so called lesser clubs !
Grounds I consider to have a good atmosphere from the home side:
Wolves
West Brom
Norwich
Cardiff (not been to their new ground yet though)
Everton
Port Vale on a good day can be loud. The whole area is like how football used to be, I do like it there.
Nottm Forest
Derby
Always been disappointed by Leeds, Sheff Utd and Birmingham, given their hostile reputations. Old Trafford predictably is awful.
Would agree Travs of the current PL Everton and West Brom def 2 of the better atmospheres, Derby seem to be one of the few that have managed to maintain some of the atmosphere of the old ground, suspect this is more to do with tha fans than the staadium though
