    Ha ha double raindrops indeed. We are off for a cut gate onwards recce but will probably be behind you- weather looks grim.

    foul weather today, you could hardly stand up at times, Did any one make the full crossing CT to SS, I know of 3 teams that all bailed at Cutgate and returned via the derwent dams, we got as far as Swains head before deciding hill reps were a better option and took a direct line to Alport before heading back to Fairholmes. Good training though

    There was a (mostly) Pennine group out on Saturday, went all the way from Cut Throat to Snake Summit - photos. Apparently there was a bit of 'weather' at some point!

    I think we were just behind them; we did the same section. We nearly lost one member in a bog near Outer Edge, but eventually all made it back, wetter, colder and wiser.

    I can't open those pictures Geoff, but if they're of Bleaklow, I don't want to know! We spent 3.5 hours wandering round there on Saturday, there was indeed some 'weather'!
