Of course what you mean is no fix the EU would accept, because they are determined not to accept one.

You see the EU as benign, when the very fact of negotiate order is in complete contravention of article 50, and even the reques let alone demand of an eternal annexation under Eu rules show that EU is not benign. You see the EU as democratic when even Juncker laughs in your face, when juncker mocked how impotent EU parliament was. It has as much say as the Venezuelan house does over maduro.

If you followed commentary on the euro debate you will know it was about empire building ensuring no way back: it was not about economic benefit, and that EU did it completely ignoring the conditions under which the architects of it says it could work, knowing all other unions failed, was an act of economic sabotage. A power game, nothing else.
now those economists say it will inevitably fail because EU refused to heed those messages.

In any event you seem incapable of conducting this without insults or mockery so I shall bow out of discussion with you,

I love Europe. I am technically a resident of another EU country. I can have my cake and eat it.

I want the UK to play a leading role in Europe,
But I hate the dysfunctional EU and how their dogma has caused so much misery to so many.
The uk population has snowballed from 60m to 70m and the economic migration much from the disaster EU , has caused too many problems in uk, that is the reason we have an accommodation crisis. I’m all for balanced exchange,

Tell me: what do you say to the young people of my other country, whose minimum wage is less than half Uk, even that they are taxed on, their rent and fuel bills are the same as hours. All because of your precious EU and euro. You owe them an apology if you support the madness.

and yet no technical "fix" has been suggested, because currently, no technology can deal with this. Specifically no current technology can deal with this at the border between NI and the Republic.

    wrong and wrong.

Boris agreed it. It was the UKs responsibility to come up with solutions to the "border" issue. This was the UKs solution.

then what happens between NI and the Republic? He could put a border between the Republic and the Moon, but it wouldn't solve the issue.

because that's where the border between the EU and the not-EU physically is. I think you'll find the Republic are quite keen not to have a border. You might also like to have a little look at the Good Friday Agreement.

The Republic and France are part of the EU.

You need to capitalise proper nouns.

    I'll just leave that here.
oh, no, hang on, I'll just add this:

“I like many companies have taken precautions by taking most assets offshore.”
so my question to the rest of the forum (to paraphrase Mr Rotten) is this:
ever feel like you've been swindled?

I ( like dyson) was in corbyn protection mode.

A threat which seems to be receding.

I’ve sold out my rental portfolio because of rampant stupidity by both parties.

    Nothing to do with brexit.

I’m half time resident in the uk
I hate tourists and too much sun, I prefer uk summer.

I switched on this morning and hit the "What's New" and visited the 4 threads that interested me, posted on two and then back to my brew, a short burst on the exercise bike, shower and pick up my granddaughter for the day.

I didn't click on any of the threads that didn't float my boat.

I suspect this thread is many's guilty pleasure

I might be interesting to see what happens if the UK leaves the EU and then Scotland gains independence and joins the EU. Who's problem will that border be?
If it was paranoia. then it might be excusable. But the reality is it is political chicanery.

We've just seen the tragic case of 39 people shipped across the continent. They should be more concerned about that, than perhaps a part container of footwear that has come in without the anti-dumping duty attached because it was trans-shipped through a 3rd country.

you're the one who wanted someone to refute your points.
Someone did and you can't handle it.
    Again.
